CURSED (Theatrical version) This cinematic hairball was released in two versions on DVD: R-Rated and unrated. I’m not sure what the difference is between the two because I saw this mess in theaters and have absolutely no desire to muddle through it

      again, in any version.

Wes Craven’s first werewolf film is easily the worst film of his career and a film that had a very appropraite name.

The film started production without a completed script and much of it was re-written and reshot ...

      • with tons of footage edited and left on the cutting room floor while new footage was added on the fly.

None of this film makes any sense nor is it coherent at all.

Teens get attacked by a werewolf and have to

        solve the great werewolf mystery.

The mystery is why they mixed totally r rated gore with goofy PG humor.

None of this is original and considering it comes twenty-five years after AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON and THE HOWLING give it even less of an excuse to be so bad.

        ROTTEN.
