This issue wasn’t bad, but it had potential to be more. It was good to see a writer remember that Harvey is still in there somewhere. Most writers just have Two-Face and the coin flip is nothing more than a formality. Here we actually do see both sides.

The shining moment in this issue was Harvey at the grave.

It’s here where we saw both sides as well written as Tomasi could write them.

Two-Face works better as a street level villain. While it makes sense that he would want to get back at Nightwing for letting Carol die, I think it would’ve worked better had he threatened just a handful of people. Threatening the whole city by ...

      • dumping gallons of acid on people may seem like Two-Face’s MO, but it really isn’t.

With Batman MIA, it seems like Dick is stepping up. Barbara mentioned that he was starting to act and talk like Bruce and the teaser for the next issue says that he will take up a mission that Bruce has been training him for his entire

life. Taking up the mantle seems like a reasonable assumption.

It looks like DC is trying to bring up Two-Face as Dick’s arch-enemy. It does make sense as Harvey has had an impact on Dick’s development as a hero. Hopefully, it doesn’t mean that he is solely Dick’s responsibility as Dent works just as well going up against Batman.
