  • This is not true, during what I thought to be an intense investigation they find that Sammy had indeed been killed
  • I like to read about Indian beliefs and lore and thought this was a nicely written book combining the warlike Apaches of old and the Navajo and Tewa tribes
  • I found the funeral scene of Sammy very interesting and tactfully written

“Tularosa” is a fast paced mystery written by Michael McGarrity.

The mystery is for Kevin Kerney to find his missing godson, a soldier stationed at White Sand Missile Range in New Mexico.

He meets Captain Sara Brannon, who is investigating what was thought to be a simple AWOL case. This is not true, during what I thought to

be an intense investigation they find that Sammy had indeed been killed.

When Sara and Kerney realize why he was killed, the motive is astonishing. A priceless collection of old military equipment from the time of the Apache warrior Victorio has been found and is being smuggled out of the country. I liked the ...

      • way McGarrity combined the the information of the old time Indian wars and the investigation in the present.

Kerney and another undercover soldier, Eddie go into Mexico to find out who is smuggling the loot.

I really liked how they explained how the loot was cached and how the Indians thought to hide the loot and it was hidden

        all that time.

I like to read about Indian beliefs and lore and thought this was a nicely written book combining the warlike Apaches of old and the Navajo and Tewa tribes.

I found the funeral scene of Sammy very interesting and tactfully written.

I thought this book featuring Kevin Kerney was a well written mystery with a lot of twists and turns.
