Lakeview Terrace is a 2008 movie about a cop named Abel (Samuel L. Jackson) and his neighbor, Chris and Lisa Mattison (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington), a couple who just moved in the community. The Mattisons (the couple) and Abel (Jackson) starts it off being warm with each other. At first, Abel assumed Chris to be a member of the moving company that helped the Mattisons on their first day in Abel’s community. He then realizes that he is the husband

      of Lisa.

Abel is not really in approval of interracial relationships. The reason for this is revealed later in the movie. And since Chris is a white man married to Lisa who is a black woman, Abel turns into this hostile and annoying neighbor.

The Mattisons attempted to compromise with Abel at first, but they started to fight back later in the story after Abel started to bring it to the next level by making his annoying acts more offensive. He even made ...

      • it clear that he doesn’t like the Mattisons to be his neighbor.

The story is good. It has a decent amount of unpredictability in it, something that makes a story good. Maybe this is because most of Samuel L. Jackson’s role is a good guy that’s why no one would suspect him to be the villain in this movie. In fact, it even makes it harder to tell since Jackson’s personality in the movie is really good, especially his role as father

        to two kids.

The story has a good start, but it had a little bit of a drag somewhere in the middle of the story. Also, toward the end, a few turns in the story made its ending a bit clipped. It didn’t flow as well as it started. Jackson eventually dies after chasing the Mattison couple. His kids, whom he treated quite well as a father, did not appear anymore, thus doing a little injustice for the said characters, the kids, that is.
