My daughter received a set of Baggallini luggage from her grandmother, consisting of two handsome zippered bags in an olive color with coral trim.(They call it dark olive/spice.) The bags also came in a more neutral black and gray combination and several other colors. These bags are a heavy ripstop fabric, stain and water resistant and crinkle-patterned to look like silk.
The larger bag has wheels and a handle for pulling efficiently through airports, and a carrying strap. The smaller bag, called the “Doctor’s Bag,” has carrying handles, a traditional doctor bag shape,
and lots of little pockets inside to hold everything from a cell phone to an iPod to a passport. It is sized to fit under a plane seat. All of the bags in this line cleverly have a built-in sleeve which allows the pulling handle of any wheeled bag to be pulled through the sleeve, joining the bags quickly and securely for that run through the airport. My daughter, who plans a trip to England next summer, was delighted both with the styling of the bags and the practical qualities.
