Wow, what a way to make the military look bad Law & Order SVU. The episode, PTSD, while interesting, really goes out of its way to make the military look like an institution determined to cover up things like rape and murder.

Of course, Olivia has issues that really need to be addressed.

She’s obviously feeling the effects of

being sexually assaulted while under cover and I’m glad her character was ordered to take a leave of absence at the end (which obviously is only for one week since she’s going to be back in the next episode).

I honestly thought she was going to pull the trigger when she was trying to break up the fight between ...

      • those two marines.

I’m not sure why they even keep her on the police force at this point.

Elliott wasn’t on the show, but, in true Law & Order fashion, the police jump to the wrong conclusion and accuse and even try the wrong guy before learning who the real criminal was.

It was an OK episode, but not

        my favorite.

I grew up around the military and know how seriously they take crimes like those being discussed on this show and I feel this episode gave the wrong impression.

And, I especially love how the new DA wants to prosecute the case so the guy doesn’t end up with the death penalty.

Most DA’s would want the harsher punishment.
