OK, I like some Family Guy episodes and don’t like others as much. That’s going to be true about most series.

But, some episodes of this show like “Barely Legal” are just a bit disturbing.

If you haven’t seen this episode, it goes

      a bit like this.

Meg convinces Brian to take her to the dance and, because he ends up defending her and because he had a bit too much to drink, they wind up making out.

After that, she is obsessed with him.

Personally, I have to wonder don’t these people realize Brian is a dog.

The idea of having sex with him or even making out of him is just wrong on so many levels.

I will admit the fact Meg becomes a stalker is a ...

bit funny; especially when she ends up kidnapping him.

I also love how Quagmire talks about setting Meg straight and, rather than having sex with her, as is implied, he ends up sitting down and having a heart to heart talk with her.

/> Still, overall this episode is just a bit too much for my tastes.

I try to like crude jokes as much as the next person but, come on, we’re talking about a teenaged girl being in love with a dog.

It doesn’t get more wrong than that.

family guy is enjoyable and can make you laugh a lot. its dark humour can be enticing for some and off putting for others. each character is unique and humorous in their own way. the show is good.
Lou says :

But I think one of the main jokes that runs throughout Family Guy is that they treat Brian like a human, and he acts like one too. So this particular episode just adds to that long running joke which is in every season.

This show has a lot of good episodes but some episodes are in bad taste such as the overweight episodes seem like they use it as a punch line when some people really do have problems with their weight . The show also has lost some of the sparkle it has that we fell in love with .
