I have to say season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer really isn’t as light hearted as the first two seasons. In fact, you have so much going on at once, it’s actually starting to get confusing.

The episode “Revelations” is a good example.

The episode itself focuses on a mystical glove that some demon

      is trying to find.

And, you have a new watcher for Faith show up and she’s not quite what she seems.

However, you have so many sub-stories, it’s impossible to keep up.

Willow and Xander are obviously in love with each other (or their hormones are) and are trying to hide their secret kisses from ...

      • Cordelia, Buffy and Oz.

You have Buffy harboring Angel and the gang finds out; prompting Xander and Faith to attempt to kill him when Buffy isn’t watching.

And, you have Faith starting to show signs of heading to the dark side.

She reveals she doesn’t trust anyone, including Buffy.

And, after that fight her and

Buffy get into during the final battle (which in itself makes the episode worth watching), I have a hard time believing they will be friends again.

My biggest complaint about this episode is, once again, you have this supposedly evil demon show up and he’s killed in a matter of a minute.

They obviously don’t make bad guys like they used to.
