DOUBLE PLATINUM
Uh oh. Double Platinum was becoming the start of a problem KISS would face: creative burnout and commercialism by way of rereleasing material that had beenout in circulation WIDELY only just recently.
The idea behind this greatest hits package was to release a double album featuringall the top KISS singles and none of the 'B sides" to an audience that may not felt like buying the first three albums. Ok, fine..but HARD LUCK WOMAN is included as well as other songs that were released only a year PRIOR!
What gives hear? Greed? Maybe so, but then again KISS was "the hottest band in the world" at this point in their career so there is the case that millions of eager fans would want this.
Ridiculously, STRUTTER is remixed needlessly into STRUTTER '78. Avoid it.
