LOVE GUN
Another "live in studio" effort that would be the album KISS' tour would revolve around on the band's first excursion into Japan.
Classics such as LOVE GUN and CHRISTINE SiXTEEN are side by side underrated gems such as PLASTER CASTER and one of Peter Criss' WORST songs ever HOOLIGAN. What on earth possessed him to write this one much less record it?
Love Gun is a step above the other KISS studio albums and would be their best live album for decades.
If ever there was an album that really captured KISS at their "Super Kiss" height of popularity, it was definitely this album, an album far removed from the merchandising mayhem that would soon overtake the band.
Great song. Great album. A classic. (Hooligan notwithstanding. I was going to take one point away from it for that song's inclusion, but I said...'nah, better not.')
