DESTROYER
A multi platiunum success that was THE album that put KISS over the top after the success of ALIVE and provided KISS with the missing component
that made them popular to the masses.
This didn’t sit too well with KISS fans as KISS departed from their “Live in the Studio” sound and went more with alot of effects and sound mixes.
Destroyer was also KISS’ first concept album and that too was not welcomed by die hards.
It is, irregardless ...
of its deviation from KISS’ original sound, a brilliant and influential masterpiece that is stil imitated in one form or another to this day.
Tape contains KISS
vistuso songs such as KING OF THE NIGHT TIME WORLD, GOD OF THUNDER, and the wildly successful (and sappy) BETH.
A well deserved financial success that launched the so-called SuperKiss period of success. A must have.
