Dhadkan is a big musical hit movie. Though the story was old,yet the way of presentation was new. That's why it attracted viewers a lot. The story of the movie is simple.

It is a triangular love story. Anjali(shilpasetty), a rich girl and only daughter of their parents falls in love with Dev(Sunilsetty),who is poor and unemployed. They love each other from bottom of their hearts.

One fineday, Anjali introduces Dev to her father. But her father dislikes him as he is not rich. Dev leaves the village to earn money and promises Anjali that he will comeback soon with lots of money and will marry her.

But when the Dev leaves the village, the things goes different. Anjali forcibly marries another guy (Akshay Kumar) proposed by her father. But she does not accept him as his husband and does not love him.

But Akshay kumar loves her a lot. He tries his best to achieve love from his wife. Atlast he succeeds in getting Anjali's love.

When they are about to celebrate their joy, then occurs the presence of Dev. Dev becomes rich and return back to marry Anjali. But when he comes to know that Anjali got married,he takens aback.

All the sequences that occur after this are exciting and interesting. One must watch this movie to know the climax. Akshay kumar,Shilpa setty,Sunil settty performed well.

Mahima chowdary is attracted audience with her item song 'Aksar ish Duniyame'. Music is superb. All songs are melodius.

My favorite song is 'Dil ne e kaha hi dil se'. I love this song. Si music wise and story wise Dhadkan is an excellent movie.
