  • Since recent time I can place another shiny glimpse of memory into my brain's depository , for I've found probably one of the best hotels ever
  • From the very first day one shall experience truly wonderful service and great European cuisine (this is probably one of the few English hotels where they actually CAN cook well)

      There is an awful lot of images flashing in my mind when I hear the word “Cornwall”: green hills of the severe northern coasts, friendly southern beaches, fables telling of Arthur and his knights, superior scenery, peaceful countryside and much, much more. Since recent time I can place another shiny glimpse of memory into my brain’s “depository”, for I’ve found probably one of the best hotels ever.

      Camelot Castle Hotel rests at the top of the hill on the coastline nearby a small vilage of Tintagel, which is in Cornwall, England. Facing the vast sea to the west and enchanting green hills to

      the east, it stands proudly under the sky. A very peaceful and tranquil place - genuine gift for all who value their privacy and stunningly beautiful landscapes. Its owners - a famous British painter Ted Stourton and composer John Mappin - really possess a clear idea of inspiring surroundings.

      The hotel’s architecture and interiors copy medieval castle, though supplied by all comforts of civilization. In spacious halls one can admire Mr. Stourton’s creations, relax and have a short or two at the bar, play chess or visit the restaurant. From the very first day one shall experience truly wonderful service and great European ...

      • cuisine (this is probably one of the few English hotels where they actually CAN cook well). Staff members are permanently friendly and helpful, regardless of what you look like or how expensive your room is. That can really cheer any traveller’s heart.

        While staying at the hotel, one can venture a walk to the coast, to rocky and wild beaches that northern Cornwall is renowned for, green hills - as if breathing with old folklore, see the ruins of Tintagel castle, try Cornish ales in one of the village’s pubs… Or simply come to the candle-lit hall of the restaurant to have a

        meal and observe dusk above the azure abyss of the sea. Choices are limitless, and they are all yours! Whatever you’re after - inspiration, tranquil rest, splendid scenery, spirit of old legends or anything else - you are guaranteed to have great time.

        How to get there: - by train to Bodmin Parkway, then take a taxi to Tintagel (you can also make a phonecall to the hotel, book a room and order a taxi in advance);

        Pricing: - from 39 to 100 pounds per night;

        Features: - Luxurious restaurant with sensible prices; - Laundry (in the village); - Pet owners welcome; - Special offers to extend one’s stay; - Great location; - High-quality service;
