This is what happens when a man puts the feelings of his heart above that of common sense. In this movie, Denzel Washington plays the role of a police chief who, while going through a messy divorce, gets himself caught up with a dying woman who is need of money, money that he takes

using his authority, but it was done in secret. When news of the death of the woman is made knowledgeable to him, he has to do all that is within his power to do to recover the money as the FBI are in town and they are searching high and low to find out ...

      • what is going on in this small town. Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time, this movie is a typical example of that and when things can go wrong they will. Denzel’s character Chief Whitlock manages to get himself involved with a woman with questionable background and when she and
her ex-husband turn up dead, the fingers are point directly to the Chief, but while the investigation is going on, he is in the mix of it and he buys himself some time to clear his name before the stink rises. This is a very intriguing little movie, not a block buster but a decent enough movie. Enjoy!
