The third installation to the Home Alone franchise offers brand new characters to try and pickup where the first two made their mark. This one, without using the big names like episode one and two, introduces a new child who plans to put a damper on criminals coming into his home and starting trouble. While the

antics and use of dangerous elements are just as profound in this movie just like the others, it just did not make that mark on me as a viewer of great entertainment. If you did manage to get into the plot of this one, you soon came to realize that it just was not as good ...

      • or even tried to live up to the name of the series. When you had just one kid making a mockery of two grown but not too smart adults, that was just fine, and bearing in mind that they were just your regular under average robbers. But in this one, they had one child going up
against an elite team of army trained personnel and he manages to thwart their efforts very easily that was a bit too much to take in and it just was not very believable at all. I can not say that better could have been done, all I shall say is that they should have quit while they were ahead.
