This is the movie that brought the Superman franchise from the pages of the comic book and TV to the general public on the silver screen. Giving viewers a taste of what the readers already know, they introduce the Superman feel from life on the planet Krypton leading up to the day the planet was destroyed.

It shows of a young Kel-El being sent off into outer space in search of life beyond Krypton and the crash landing on Earth, picking up from there they takes us on a quick right through his discovery period of himself and how he came to be who he is today.

What is a super hero ...

      • without a super villain and that villain comes to life in the character known as Lex Luther.

Gaining knowledge of superman’s strengths and weaknesses, he tries to do away with the would be hero in order to do his own bidding as he sees fit without fear of being caught.

        Showing that a mere human

can bring down even a mighty hero as Superman, Lex proves his worth as Superman’s first combatant who almost manages to do him in.

this movie wasn’t that great on the screen, I prefer the story from the pages better than the movie, it just wasn’t all that to me.

But watch it and make your own judgment.
