This second installation in the Superman saga focuses on the accidental release of the Kryptonian criminals from the Phantom Zone imprisonment for trying to establish a dictatorship on the planet Krypton. Their release from the Phantom Zone was caused when Superman threw an elevator into the upper atmosphere that contained a bomb thus destroying the criminals’ prison that was floating nearby.

In addition to that happening, Lex Luther, who was imprisoned in the first movie has managed to escape and is once again trying to destroy the man of steel for his own selfish reasons.

With newfound knowledge of superman’s new villains at his fingertips, he gains access to Superman’s hideaway and his knowledge is now more than it was before.

      General ...

      • Zod, the head criminal mastermind has lead his team of three to earth with intentions of ruling the same way he was planning to on Krypton before they were banished to the Phantom Zone.

With Superman temporarily indisposed at the moment after allowing himself to be found out by Lois Lane and with being blinded by love, he removed his powers,

so he is of no help to anyone in this state.

But not for long, he manages to regain his powers and shows the would be rulers and the upstart Lex Luther that he isn’t through being the savior for the weak and innocent.

Not a very bad movie, I think it is better than the first and is very entertaining.

        Happy viewing!
