Starring the musician Prince in his acting debut, this movie centers around a young musician played by Prince who tries his very best not to follow in the footsteps of his abusive father. Prince, while trying to hold down a relationship with his girlfriend, holding his musical band together and trying his

very best to mirror the ill effects of his rocky upbringing. Though this movie is based on domestic violence and music, the character development was not that bad and this movie is very easy to follow. Bear in mind that this is no block buster hit by any standards, but it does ...

      • have great appeal to all those who are fans of Prince. Plus, you must also try to over look the constant purple décor of this motion picture, because if you don’t the colors alone will drive you to not continue watching the movie right through to the end. All I can say
is to view it with an open mind. If you try to get to methodical and wander off trying to make sense out of this movie, you are going to be so lost it won’t be funny, so just prepare yourself for a simple ride through the movie life of Prince. Happy viewing!
