The Crowne Plaza is a absolutely gorgeous place to stay and has a wide array of things available for the traveler. The hotel has a shuttle which takes you back and forth to the airport and to the shopping mall which is not far away. The hotel has 8 floors and over 200 rooms. The hotel has a lot of glass and I think it really gives the hotel its appealing appearance. The hotel is not that large foot print wise but it is very tall. The building is basically grey and like I said the glass and the way it is built into the architecture of the hotel. Where the carport is attached to the building are several windows which have curvature to them and again brings an additional touch to the building with glass. The hotel has a large carport which has a unique

geometric design. It also has a center area in the carport which had a skylight in the center. The end of the carport had stacked block posts. The carport has two separate drives and is quite large. The drive up to the carport is as a bit of an angle and there is a small garden area right in front of the building. It is of stone construction and has a stone marker with Crowne Plaza on it. At the bottom portion of the stone are lots of colorful flowers. Right next to the small garden is another area where there are small green plants. There is an iron fence right behind the green plants. The structure is very stately and well taken care of. Every thing is kept extremely clean. The parking is acceptable.

The lobby is huge and very long. There are at least three areas to register for a room. The desk area has to be about 30 or more feet long. The walls are painted in grey and there are white accents around the room. The room is about 18 20 feet tall and the ceiling is white with flat lights set into the ceiling. The carpeting is brown grey with multiple different designs in it like cross hatching and Victorian designs around it. The ceiling has a lovely glass chandelier which is quite large. On the walls of over the registration area are a couple extremely large pictures with antique looking gold frames. In the center of the room are two soft blue sofas which are really comfortable to relax in. Next to them is an oval table with a large floral arrangement on it. The staff ...

were extremely friendly and helpful. Getting around the area is a challenge for me and they were more than willing to help with giving directions.

The bedroom was lavish! The walls were wallpapered in a tan and white combination. The carpeting was a white and blue figured design. There was a window at the end of the room with white sheer curtains and blue swag curtains over it. There was a king bed in the room. The mattress was extremely soft and cushiony. The pillows were also fluffy and comfortable. The coverlet/quilt on the bed was white with a gold bedskirt under it. Next to the window and on either side of it were two chairs. One was a blue upholstered barrel style chair and the other one was a high back, upholstered wing chair with a combination white and blue upholstery fabric.

Between the two chairs was a small fancy circular table with a very antique looking table lamp next to it. On the other side of the one chair was a chest of drawers with a flat screen tv on it. Next to it was a work desk which had a telephone and table lamp on it with access to the internet. Over the work desk was large mirror. The majority of the bathroom was tile. The floor and the all the walls were the same kind of tile. The bathtub itself what white. The shower was separate and had a glass door. There was lots of hot water and plenty of fluffy and absorbent towels. The rooms, both bath and bedroom were, as far as I was concerned, luxury. It was all well kept and extremely clean. It was a bit expensive but worth every cent.
