The Fairfield in a quite large hotel. There are four floors and 80 plus rooms. There are lots of things for a person to do around the area. The reason we stayed here is because they are close to the Georgia Dome as my husband and I went to a sporting event. The hotel is smoke free which is a great plus because I have asthma and smoke really irritates me. There are lots of great restaurants around the area which is another plus. You don’t have to drive all over town to find a good place to eat. They use a lot of lights outside to highlight the building. The hotel had all kinds of different architectural details. They physically had portions of the hotel protrude out from the rest of it Additionally, the hotel is painted several different colors. It was painted tan, and two different shades of terra cotta. The parking lot was very large and surrounded

the majority of the building. There were young trees around the around, but then the hotel was not that old.

There were small flowers beds with small shrubs. The property was new and very pretty. Everything was very clean and manicured, including the small amount of lawn and shrubs. The parking lot had lots of overhead lighting which made a person feel safe when walking in late at night.

The lobby was semi modern with lots of straight lines. The walls were painted white and so was the ceiling. In the seating area was a large carpet which was done in a Victorian style. The colors in the carpeting were green, brown, gold with a bit red in it. There was a loveseat which was upholstered in a dark terra cotta. It was fully stuffed and with several pillows on it. On either side of the loveseat was an end table that was highly polished and stained a dark cherry. On both end ...

      • tables were table lamps with white lampshades. Across from the love seat were two stuffed chairs in a figured upholstery fabric in the colors of maroon and gold. In front of the furniture was a modern fireplace with a surround and a wall which were all of the same cherry stained wood with black borders around them. There was beige tile in front of the fireplace. Over the mantle was an unusual print I didn’t like it.

My room was quite nice. The walls were painted beige and so was the ceiling. The carpeting was green and gold in a plaid design. I had a queen bed with was quite firm and there were 2 really fluffy and comfortable pillows on the bed. The coverlet or probably duvet was white with a figured blanket at the foot of the bed. There were two nightstands with wood lamps on them. There was also a telephone and alarm clock. The window treatments were

very pretty. There were sheer white curtains beneath tan colored drapes which hunger almost to the floor. Under the white sheers was an air conditioner which was unbelievably quiet. On the other side of the room was an overstuffed red and gold chair with floor lamp behind it. Next to the chair was an armoire with a television in it and three drawers below the tv. It was a nice clean room including the bathroom which had lots of nice thick and fluffy towels.

The breakfast area was quite large. The walls were painted tan with a white ceiling. In front of the serving cabinets was an area with white tile. The remainder of the area had Victorian figured carpeting in the colors of green, gold and brown. There were quite a few square tables with simple chairs. The food was plentiful and fresh. We are also able to make our own waffles for breakfast. The staff kept the area very clean.
