  • The MTX Audio TX6001 speaker system is the first component set that I bought when my front door original 5'' speakers from Clarion was spoilt
  • Peak music power was rated as 180 watts, and I did not even max it out to be able to enjoy those club hits that I prefer while driving
  • I paid around RM620 (US$170) for the component set, and I think it is a very worthy buy
  • When the rear original speakers gave way half a year later, I purchased the Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.75 component set, the latest range from Pioneer, so I decided to shift this MTX component set to the rear, and it performs superbly well due to its heavier bass compared to the Pioneer component set which focuses more on vocal reproductions

The MTX Audio TX6001 speaker system is the first component set that I bought when my front door original 5′’ speakers from Clarion was spoilt. Upgrading the front sound system to this component set from MTX significantly increases the quality of the sound produced from the front, and I am very satisfied with the combination of strong deep bass from the speakers, which is nicely complimented by

      • driving. Combined with mylar capacitors used in the crossover, signal integrity is assured. I paid around RM620 (US$170) for the component set, and I think it is a very worthy buy.

When the rear original speakers gave way half a year later, I purchased the Pioneer TS-D1720C 6.75″ component set, the latest range from Pioneer, so I decided to shift this MTX component set to the rear, and

it performs superbly well due to its heavier bass compared to the Pioneer component set which focuses more on vocal reproductions. All in all, I am very satisfied with setting up the MTX to the rear, and even my rear passengers complimented that the vocal reproduction from the MTX is very clear and crisps as compared to other cars that use those manufacturer-supplied speakers or those three-in-one 6″x9″ speakers.
