One of the hardest things to buy during the holiday season has to be a Christmas tree - especially a fake one. Too many times have I thrown hundreds of dollars at badly made plastic trees, only to have them break after the first use, fall over, or just plain look bad.

This year I saw a beautiful tree on display at my local Fred Meyers, a Holiday

Home 7′ Royal Spruce lighted tree.

For $130, it seemed like a great deal!

After opening the box, and reading the directions, I put up the tree.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to assemble! The tree was sectioned into three parts, which went into a metal stand.

Each section collapses open, making seperating the individual little limbs the only job left.

      Connecting the lighting ...

      • was pretty simple, as soon as you find where the plug-ins are.

The remote control feature is a huge plus as well! All in all, the time it took to assemble the tree and lights was less than 15 minutes (including fluffing it!).

The branches are bendable as well, so you can mold them to any way you’d like.

This is a beautiful and life-like tree.

        The only

downside is the black metal criss-cross stand, which immediately gives it away that the tree is fake.

However, if you’re able to look over that small detail, this tree is amazing for the price.

It’s wonderful quality, perfectly balanced, and looks beautiful.

I think that for anyone on a short budget looking for a good fake Christmas tree that will last a few years, this is definately the tree to go for.
