The Straight Lead The Core of Bruce Lee’s Jun Fan JKD by Teri Tom Teri Tom deserves a medal for this book. Not only does she provide an excellent, in depth look at Bruce Lee’s variation on a lead jab,

she succeeds in putting one more nail in the coffin of the woefully inept JKD Concepts faction that had been churning out tons of books and tapes that were totally devoid of depth, logic or science. Tom’s book breaks down ...

      • the mechanics of the punch, its applications, and the underlying research that lead to its development. You won’t find that in JKDC books which are loaded with tons and tons of (bad) techniques, none of which are found in any
of Bruce Lee’s notes. Then again, it wouldn’t be JKDC if made any sense, would it?

Tom’s book is a must have for those who want to understand the application of Lee’s art and how it differs mechanically and philosophically from other arts. Purchase this one asap.
