I don’t recommend watching The Jane Austen Book Club if you are the acting pack type of movie buff or if you are just looking for an action love story filled with romantic notions and all that.

For this movie is plainly about a book club started out by most women and their

lives that are intertwined together with the era that Jane Austen had written. Not bad of a movie story actually, come to think of it and there are hilarious moments plus some great characters. I must say that the actors and actresses are quite lost on me; meaning that I don’t really ...

      • know who they are and all that. But there’s one prominent character which I later searched for the name at the end credits and he is Hugh Dancy. He played well his role as a geeky person and truly hilarious. So if you intend to watch this movie, catch his performance.

        The

plot is not that bad, really and you find that the characters with their love life problems and marriage etc would relate themselves as the writings of Jane Austen went along. I can see literature students having a great time watching this story since there are quite a few notable characters in it. Not bad.
