  • Pitching is pretty boring, all you do is flick the wii remote and you throw the ball(a second after you do the motion)

Wii Sports is a sports compilation that is packaged with every Wii in the US. It contains 5 sports: Tennis, Baseball, Boxing, Golf, and Bowling.

Tennis: Tennis is the best of the 5 sports. All matches are played with doubles. This is fun because of the motion controls. You feel like you are actually swinging a tennis racket, kind of. The motion controls feels great, and you can even do a curve ball. You can play this mode with up to 4 people, and it can be a real blast. The game is very easy to learn, and even your grandparents can play the game.

      Bowling:

My 2nd favorite. The bowling game is pretty damn fun. The motion controls are fairly accurate. You can manipulate your throw to make the ball curve, and it feels natural. It’s a pretty good bowling simulation.

Boxing: My next favorite game in Wii sports. This mode is fairly fun, but it has a few issues with the controls and the gameplay. You can dodge, but it is hard to get used to and it doesn’t react very fast. The punches don’t accurately emulate the punch that you made in real life, which can be a little frustrating when you are getting beat down, and you ...

      • try hard to fight back, but your punches aren’t registering.

Golf: Golf is golf. I am not a fan of the sport, but it can be entertaining, somewhat. The accuracy of the motion controls are good enough, but they don’t really do a good enough job in making it seem like you’re swinging a golf club. Anyways, it’s pretty standard as far as a golf game goes.

Baseball: My least favorite of them all. Baseball is pretty simple, all you do is bat and pitch. Pitching is pretty boring, all you do is flick the wii remote and you throw the ball(a second after you do

the motion). It’s not very exciting, especially if you’re just playing alone. Batting is pretty boring as well. It’s sometimes not very accurate, and you can miss because of it. When you start missing a lot, you don’t get much fun out of it, and you start disliking the game.

Conclusion: Wii sports is a fun sports compilation with friends or family. It is a real casual game and you can even get your nongaming friends/family to join in. If you’re a hardcore gamer, you would probably get bored of the game fairly quickly, but casual gamers would probably get a lot of fun out of this game.
