In the game of Marvel vs. Capcom, there are helper characters. As with the main menu of characters, which features hidden characters…there are a couple of hidden helper characters that you can unlock as well.

In the arcade a special code is used to get these characters, while at home they seem to be eventually unlocked when you play the game and beat it with certain characters. I think Sentinel, which is one of the hidden helper characters; got unlocked when I finally beat the game (at

home) with all the other main characters (including the hidden ones) and actually unlocked the big boss as a hidden main character as well!

Sentinel is actually the main or only helper of the big boss in the game and he seems to be able to use him for an unlimited amount of times. While, if you are the one controlling the Sentinel, then you are out of luck because you can only summon this character three times during the course of a stage of battle.

      When the ...

      • Sentinel is summoned, he simply quickly sorta hovers onto the screen but is propelled forward by thrusters of some sort coming out of his back. She is the largest helper character there is, even larger than Juggernaut in height. I can’t remember how much damage or hits he deals when he connects to an opponent as I rarely ever use him.

But his general response to being summoned and manner of attack is very speedy which almost makes it impossible for your opponent to realize he is

coming, unless your opponent is at a distance and has the time to block or possibly jump out of the way.

Sentinel isn’t a bad helper character and is basically hidden because he is the big boss’ helper, at least that’s how I see it. Some guys seem to like using sentinel as their helper character in the arcade so there must be some advantage about this character that I am missing. But as for how I feel about him, not really high on list of choices.
