Marble Arch London UK
  • One of the hotels I like staying at in London is the Marriott at Marble Arch, the hotel is located on George Street the hotel is within a very short walk of the main places to be in central London such as Oxford Street and Hyde Park to name but a few
  • There is onsite car parking which sets you back nearly thirty pound a night and to top that off the hotel is in the congestion zone as well, unfortunately the last time I stayed there I needed my car with me so I had to pay both of these instead of getting the tube, if you wanted to get the tube then the nearest station is Marble Arch and that is on the Central Line
  • I enjoy eating there, so when I am stopping at the hotel I always eat in the hotel rather than go out and finding somewhere
  • Overall I really do rate this hotel and would totally recommend it whether for business or pleasure

One of the hotels I like staying at in London is the Marriott at Marble Arch, the hotel is located on George Street the hotel is within a very short walk of the main places to be in central London such as Oxford Street and Hyde Park to name but a few. The building itself looks very grand and fits in well with those around it. There is onsite car parking which sets you back nearly thirty pound a night and to top that off the hotel is in the congestion zone as well, unfortunately the last time I stayed there I needed my car with me so I had to pay both of these instead

of getting the tube, if you wanted to get the tube then the nearest station is Marble Arch and that is on the Central Line.

Inside the hotel is very well styled, the lobby is very large and has lots of places to sit down relax and wait for a while or even work as there is wi fi access in there. There is also a lovely fire place in the lobby that just sets the room off very well. The reception area is equally as good, bright but with dark wooden furnishings. The checking in process was very swift and took around a couple of minutes the staff one reception are very helpful and friendly.

      The ...

      • rooms that I have been given when I have stayed there have all been very nice, there are always very clean as has the en suite bathroom. The views have varied but some of the rooms do have lovely views. The beds in the rooms are always very large double beds and are also very comfy. Other features that the rooms have had include the mini bar, a kettle for making tea and coffee, a large TV and a large desk to for work having internet access as well.

The hotel also has some very good leisure facilities including a well equipped gym. There is also a big indoor heated swimming pool, whirlpool and a

sauna. These last three are very useful ways to help me relax. I also use these when I stay there both at night and in the morning.

The food at the hotel is very nice, especially the buffet breakfast. The restaurant is great and the food and the service that you receive is very good. I enjoy eating there, so when I am stopping at the hotel I always eat in the hotel rather than go out and finding somewhere.

Overall I really do rate this hotel and would totally recommend it whether for business or pleasure. This is a first rate hotel with friendly and helpful staff and is kept to the highest of standards.
