The Simpsons Season 8 is one of the great seasons of the animated show because it contains several episodes that fans regard as classics. However it also contains episodes that are just as good, but aren’t talked about very often.

Personally I love the episode where Bart is finally shipped off to military

school and Lisa decides to join as well after feeling stifled at her regular school.

The ending is fairly cheesy and it doesn’t work that well as a season finale, but it’s a good episode.

This is also the season when Frank Grimes made his infamous appearance as Homer’s mortal enemy.

      A lot ...

      • of people love to tout this episode as one of their favorites, but for me it just doesn’t hold up.

There were many other episodes that are better than this one and I’m not sure why so many people love it as much as they do.

Another great episode is when Lisa teams

        up with Mr.

Burns after he loses his money.

She thinks he’s doing the right thing for once in his life, but he’s actually just being the same person he always was.

It’s great though to see Burns struggling with the real world and trying to learn how to do the things that everyone else does.
