  • For my first experience with flavoured tea I bought one of the instant tea selection packs, six fruity tea sachets to serve hot or chilled, they were a good first time choice
  • Being able to see and smell the tea and coffee beans on display makes a big difference to the way you may choose to purchase, a new line is definitely more tempting if you can have a good sniff
  • I went in especially to get some Blue Mountain Jamaica, a mild smooth coffee , delicious but a touch expensive at around £11 for 125g

Whittard Nottingham shop sits in the quiet and picturesque area of Bridlesmith Gate. The shop sits in part of a beautiful old building, not a huge store by any means but very appealing. A warm bright and friendly store, but a little bit tight on space, so if you have little ones with you just be aware, some of the colourful displays might prove too much of a temptation!

The range of English fruit tea makes for a great summer evening drink, make a jugful add some ice and then use one of the extra long stirring

spoons that Whittard sell to stir it.

Many people just don’t know where to start when choosing flavoured teas, but Whittard staff are always willing to help anyone out. I went in especially to get some Blue Mountain Jamaica, a mild smooth coffee , delicious but a touch expensive at around £11 for 125g. Every available square inch of shop is packed with the finest ranges of tea and coffee, suiting the humblest of drinkers to the connoisseur.

Decaffeinated tea and coffee are both available with all of the taste but none of the kick!

Given the size of the range it would take forever to mention all of it! but it will keep me going for years to come

        trying them all out.

A large range of Hot Chocolate is available too, the Ginger Hot chocolate has the smoothness of chocolate with the bite of ginger, fabulous on a chilly winter night as a bedtime drink.

Whittards stock a good range of tea and coffee equipment, cafetieres, grinders, coffee machines and frothers to name but a few.

A fine range of china is on display, floral china teapots, cups and saucers and mugs.

Often you will find the store is really busy, Whittards are constantly introducing new and exciting ranges which attract the enthusiasts.

Go and take a look for yourself, well worth a visit!
