This movie some confuse with the “fictional” film of the same name. This, in fact was a documentary regarding the Snedeker family.

Only the family in this story has been renamed Parker (supposedly to keep identities a secret?) In any case, the family moves to Connecticut to help their son with this cancer treatments.

They move into what used to be a funeral home.

And the oldest boy and his brother (who sleep in the basement bedroom) begin seeing and hearing things.

Ultimately the older boy becomes possessed by the spirits that reside in the house.

He is taken away from the home, and the demon(s) then attack the ...

      • rest of the family.

I was a little taken aback by this story.

I at first felt sorry for the boys, whose parents didn’t believe them at first.

This documentary follows along very closely, the “Haunted” series that comes on the Discovery channel.

I was looking to see a bit more

        of the real story.

And I was also surprised that the participants didn’t want to be seen, even though the story has already made national news.

If you like true ghost stories, you should rent this.

But don’t expect a whole lot.

You’ve really got to be an enthusiast to find the real interest in it.
