Today I am going to review my local pub, the George and Dragon, where I have been socializing since the age of eighteen. The George and Dragon is run by Helen & Justin Reece, and the Son Ieuam, who also a friend. Basically the George is a public house (free house) with rented accomadation.

The George is open from 11 am to 3pm and from 6pm to 12pm from monday to sunday to thursday. On friday & Saturdays it is open from 11am to 2am.

There is a lovely atmosphere in the

George and dragon, and it a place where you would feel comfortable to bring the wife and kids, to either have a socialable drink and met the locals, or have a excellant meal. That is one of my favourite thing and the George and Dragon, is that the do some very good food.

They have a wide sellection meals on the menu, and my favourite is there steak and chips. Also where a good selection of desserts on the menu, and I recommend the stick toffe pudding.

Finally regarding the George and dragon restraunt, is that there is a good selection of wines to chose from, from the cheap if you are not a conasear, to the more expensive champagne and fine wines. Every Saturday night there is live music at the george and dragon, with various musicians from around wales and the west midlands performing to a packed house, and rappurus aplorise.

My particular favourite, is that they have a couple of very good Elvis Presley impersonators, who get the crowd going singing elvis song, and other requests from the audience. Saturday night is ...

      • The George and Dragon pub
a special place to be in the George and dragon, with locals and people from further afield, generally have a good night socializing, listening to good music, and dancing the night away.

On saturday nights serving goe4s well into the early hours, and if you want a early night, it might not be for you!

As far as the accomadation is concerned, there are six lovely self-contained bedrooms, which run on a bed and beakfast system. There are staff to make your beds in the morning, there is a lovely hot meal for

breakfast, and there is food served at lunch and at night time.

I believe the rate for staying at the George and Dragon is £30 a night for bed and breakfast, and is vey popular for walkers of the Offa’s Dyke path, which runs through Knighton were the George and Dragon is. To finish off I think the George and Dragon is an excellant place to socialize, have a drink, have a meal or simply have a good night out.

Saturday night entertainment is very good, and accomadation is excellant. I highly recommend the George and dragon.
