‘The Night Listener’ is the umpteenth time from the movie Robin Williams is illicit nuances. Efforts in genres varying from the usual role he (comedy) sometimes successfully, but sometimes also appear with no convincing. For me, including The Night Listener, which is quite successful.

Gabriel Noone (Robin Williams) is a radio announcer in a midnight. When he obtained a manuscript of a hit that, according to Ashe (Joe Morton) is the work of a friend adolescents aged 14 years old named Pete (Rory Culkin), who is also the fans Gabriel. Pete is the victim pedophilia parents own a cause he had AIDS. Now living with his foster mother named Donna (Toni Collete) in the area of Wisconsin. But the reporting of friendship between Gabriel and Donna together

with Pete, until the day of a former boyfriend Gabriel, jess (Bobby Cannavale) says if Pete and Donna sound is the same person, because it has a similarity tone. Although Gabriel does not want to believe if Pete and Donna are the same person, but with the help of his friend Anna (Sandra Oh), he started a search on the origin Pete and Donna are the results thus raise the suspicion. Then, with Gabriel dare go to Wisconsin to meet Donna. In the end, he indeed found that Donna was blind. However, what with Pete? Is he really the real character?

      • is a fellow in the real world, they raise novel in the form of a film script and directed by Patrick Stettner. Robin Williams also feel attracted to join because of the story ideas. But the cooperation they generate a small Thriller enthralling from beginning to end.

‘The Night Listener’ the psychological side of the characters isolated from the world and then describe the reality that tends to dull and sometimes disconcerting. The film runs with a tempo that is quite fast, so do not feel movies have finally reached, so sometimes we as spectators feel emotionally from the movie less elaboration. Patrick Stettner options may take the tempo is quick to avoid the boredom of spectators on the theme of this tends to weight (Do, for

the Sundance Film Festival version, longer duration, which is approximately 91 minutes. Theatrical Compare with the version that is only 82 minutes. This means there is enough scenes that were omitted). Even materials that handled appear with enough gifted with a level low enough that monotonous. However as a Thriller, story structure is actually quite simple, especially with the plot-twist that’s easy to party. Perhaps due to this movie because of more emphasis on the elements of drama from the vagaries story?

Apart from that, ‘The Night Listener’ a film that is entertaining while providing the relevant significance for the soul of enlightenment (IMHO). Moreover, supported by a range of players with excellent quality on, then ‘The Night Listener’ is the option compulsory for Thriller fan or psychological drama.
