  • This model I liked not only for it's reasonable price ($79.98 at Staples), but that the scanner had 1200 x 2400-dpi resolution

I have been using the HP deskjet series printers for a while now and wouldn’t use any other brand if you are looking for an economical All-in-One printer.

The point here is that many All-in-One printers have more of a chance of not functioning well because of the added functions.

      HP hasn’t

      let me down.

This model I liked not only for it’s reasonable price ($79.98 at Staples), but that the scanner had 1200 x 2400-dpi resolution. Some scanners say they have this resolution but you really don’t notice the difference. This HP does indeed have a resolution it advertises.

      I liked that ...

      • this model has a cover in the back to pull out paper that gets stuck in the machine, many printers don’t have this feature.

It was easy to set-up with the cd included, worked well with Vista and didn’t conflict with my other printers. Other brand printers with more features have

caused endless conflict headaches for me inthe past, HP never has!

I mostly use it to make copies, which it does as well, and very quickly with a button on the machine, you don’t even have to go through your computer to access this feature.

A wonderful product and the replacement ink is not over-priced.

Describe hw to unstick paper stuck in HP F4280

    John says :

Milton, I would suggest that you view the video on HP’s website that describes how to remove a paper jam on this particular printer. Here’s a link:

    Galega says :

That’s easy to do. Just ensure to do it slowly, if you don’t have dexterity in handling this printer. You can also take help of the users’ manual for the same. Following are brief instructions that you will be required to follow.

Turn off the machine and unplug it.
    Open paper output cover.
Check if jammed paper is under FINE cartridge holder.
Hold jammed paper firmly in both hands.
Slowly pull out paper, so as not to tear it.
Make sure all jammed paper is removed.
Close paper output cover and reload paper.
