  • Firstly, I find the Grand Voyager CRD not to be a very stylish vehicle but in all fairness I don't think that style was in the minds of the designers when they visualized this vehicle going down the production lines
  • Secondly, I noticed that the Voyager is longer than before and has a lot more features than the previous version of the same make
  • Thirdly, I also had the opportunity to experience the car in motion while sitting in the back seat and I was really impressed by the comfort of the ride
  • I can really relate to why Chrysler calls this car the family room on wheels , as there is really a lot of space and there are many features I found significantly useful to transporting the family, such as Swivel 'n Go and Stow and go
  • I think this would make the ideal car for the family and the driving experience I had was good for the intended purposes

Now, I’m not one to invest in family cars just yet, as I reside alone and am not planning on having my own family anytime soon, but I had the opportunity to test drive a typical family car, the Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 liter CRD.

I really thought that this is really one car that is made for the family, in every sense possible and I didn’t get anymore than I had expected, in terms of performance related specifications

such as 0-100 time, top speed and torque.

I will therefore base my review on this car from the point of view of somebody who is specifically in the market for a family type car.

to transporting the family, such as Swivel ‘n Go and Stow and go. These basically mean that one can rotate the middle seats a whole 180 degrees and you can fold up some of the seats to create even more room, although I really doubt one could possibly need more room than what the car already has to offer.

I think this would make the ideal car for the family and the driving experience I had was good for the intended purposes.
