I have to say that I was a little bit disappointed with the new Call of Duty game, Call of Duty: World At War. It takes place during WWII. You play as the United States Marines and the Russian military against the Japanese and Germans. While playing as a Marine you will advance through

the Pacific to invade Japan. As a Russian, you will defend Russia and conquer the Germans to take Berlin.

The graphics did not seem as crisp as Call of Duty 4. The maps were small and restricted.

It only took 3 hours to beat the game on normal Co-op mode.

In Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare you ...

      • could get shot and die if you try and hide behind something like a fence. That is realistic. In this new version a fence saves you from the bullet.

It wasn’t all bad. The dialogue and storyline were well done. Game play was fun. The controls were the same as the previous version,

no need to learn new ones.

There was a good variety of weapons to choose from too.

It was an entertaining game but offline game play was too short. Unless you plan on playing a lot online, I would advise to save your money until the game has been out awhile and the price drops some.
