  • I have compared the Zeiss mini against the Bausch & Lomb 10 X 50 full size and various Bushnell binoculars and in my opinion they are by far brighter and more clear than any of the others I have owned

Small & lightweight; outstanding clarity; easy to focus and use.

“you are not constantly reminded of their presence by that weight around your neck or the constant thumping of your binoculars against your chest”

Weighing just 9 ounces you can always have them handy. The Ziess 10 X 25 mini packs tremendous optic power into an amazingly small device. Having owned several other manufactures full sized binoculars prior to purchasing the Zeiss puts me in the position to make a comparative analysis. I can testify to their unparalleled clarity and performance even when being compared to much larger and heavier full sized optics. I would also add that among the mini binocular category the Zeiss remains one of the smallest and lightest you can obtain.

Perhaps at first glance the 10 X 25 mini appears

different to other mini type binoculars only in its styling. That is unless you are already familiar with the long standing reputation of Carl Zeiss optics. With your first look through these binoculars you will see a whole new dimension of long range viewing brought up close with a sharpness that seems surreal. The image transmitted by these instruments is so bright and clear that you will immediately recognize that they far surpass anything you have ever used for viewing nature or sports.

I have compared the Zeiss mini against the Bausch & Lomb 10 X 50 full size and various Bushnell binoculars and in my opinion they are by far brighter and more clear than any of the others I have owned. This is no doubt owing to the outstanding quality ...

      • of the Zeiss Glass who’s light gathering capability stands at the top of the statistical pile. The only other binocular that I have that compares are my full sized Steiner 10 X 50 Military / Marine binoculars but the size & weight of the Steiner’s keep me reaching for the Zeiss.

Regarding the size and weight factor. Realizing that you have encumbered yourself for the day with a huge pair of binoculars is not a good thing. You and I both know that unless you are out for a trip afield birdwatching you may or may not actually use your binoculars much on any given outing. This is where size and weight really matter! When you are not using your Zeiss mini you are not constantly reminded of their presence by that weight around

your neck or the constant thumping of your binoculars against your chest. Both of the aforementioned physical effects of carrying full sized binoculars are what drove me to the mini market.

Next comes the ease of focusing the 10X 25’s, these are a center focusing type of binocular and the focus is both quick and exact with a separate diopter focus to allow for any astigmatism the user may have. They are supplied with a first rate leather carry pouch having a belt loop and a neck cord for field carry.

If you are considering a purchase in the near future I would urge you to visit your nearest Carl Zeiss dealer and view the 10 X 25B mini from Zeiss. They will be the last binocular you will ever have to buy. You will see the light!
