The episode begins showing Bart vandalizing public property. Marge gives him a lecture, on how to be loyal to your town. This is taken very seriously by Bart.

When they go to paly with the Springfield Lemon Tree, they notice that boys from Shelbyville steal some of that tree’s lemons. Bart and Springfield boys demand it back, but Shelbyville boys do not care for them.

      The next day,

Bart and the Springfield boys notice, that tree is gone. They track it to Shelbyville.

They decided to go into that town and get it back. This news reaches Marge.

She urges Homer to get the boys back. So Homer and the other boys parents go to Shelbyville.

The boys hunt down the tree, and the parents hunt down the boys. After explaining to their parents, why they ...

      • ventured into Shelbyville, he parents decided to get the tree back too.

However they noticed the tree was in a car impound lot. Do they get the tree back?

This was a really hilarious episode.

The story of how Shelbyville and Springfield were formed is told here. It is very amusing.

A sense of loyalty is shown amongst the Springfield people for the first time. I really liked some

scenes, like when Bart says that it is time to become a man and steps into Shelbyille soil, but in the background you could see Lisa and her friend already on Shelbyville soil.

Homer said a really hilarious dialog when confronted by a Shelbyville resident, who told Homer that is stupid, to which Homer replied that Stupider like a fox. Oh man this made me laugh on the floor.
