  • The leisure centre here was quite limited just having a gym with weights no pool or anything along those lines, this is a shame but there is so much to do in London that it wasn't really and issue for us this time
  • The food and the service here are the best we have ever experienced

When I was in London I had the chance to mix business and pleasure, I was booked into the Marriott at Grosvener Square and decided to take Lyndsey and the boys down with me and make a long weekend of it as I had a meeting on Friday. We stayed Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and did some shopping and sight seeing in London as well.

The hotel is located in the heart of London in the very exclusive Mayfair district, the hotel is a lovely red brick building very grand in stature and fits in very well with the area and the image of the Mayfair area. Car parking is a nightmare and knowing what London is like I parked on the outskirts and got the

train to Victoria and then a Taxi to the hotel.

Inside the hotel is equally grand stylish and elegant. The lobby and reception area is very modern stylish there is a lovely fire place with a modern fire and comfy chairs. The floor is a black and white marble leading to the reception desk and the concierge desk. The checking in process is very swift and the staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Although when we got to our room the promised cot wasn’t there but a phone call and ten minutes later it arrived.

The room we had was very nice it had two double beds in it and still had plenty of room for everything else. There was a desk to work ...

      • at and plenty of data points and wi fi access. The room had a fat screen TV and satellite which was handy for getting the weather reports. The en suite was also very lovely modern and stylish as is the whole of the hotel. The room certainly lived up to what we expected. It was good it had plenty of room as we had Josh’s pram and Kurt’s Buggy Board as well and even then the room wasn’t cramped.

The leisure centre here was quite limited just having a gym with weights no pool or anything along those lines, this is a shame but there is so much to do in London that it wasn’t really and issue for us this time.

        The restaurants at the

hotel are excellent and we tried a couple of them as well as room service during our stay there. The two restaurants in the hotel are run by Gordon Ramsey and are his London Maze and the Maze Grill. The food and the service here are the best we have ever experienced. The Maze grill is where breakfast is served and it is outstanding, Even if you are not staying at the hotel the Maze and the Maze grill are well worth a night at.

Overall this hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed at. We will defiantly be staying there again when we got to London. We would thoroughly recommend it. It is in a class of its own.
