The episode begins with all the kids having fun, and then all of a sudden they are being chased by their parents to attend church. Bart is very upset and grumpy regarding this. But alter he notices a very pretty girl.

She turns out to be Rev Lovejoy’s daughter Jessica. Bart tries to befriend her, but

      she is not interested.

Bart tries all ways to woo her, he even joins Sunday school. Jessica initially ignores him, and tries to stay away from him.

Bart tries to change for her, but then it turns out that Jessica is as mischievous as Bart is. She and Bart begin to do all sorts of mischievous ...

      • things, playing pranks and all.

One prank goes too far, where Jessica steals the Church’s offerings, and Bart gets blamed. Does Jessica get away with it?

This is a very nice episode which shows how young boys, or for that matter males, will do anything to woo a pretty girl.

And how the girl, if she has

something else in mind, will take advantage of that male. Bart’s innocence as well as, his love for Jessica is shown very well here.

Because he loves Jessica he is willing to do anything for her. However Bart does not see how Jessica is using him.

The ending of the episode has a very nice surprise.
