It is winter and it is snowing heavily. So heavily that Homer crashes his car into another car which he thinks is some else but it is his other car. So he collects the insurance and with that money goes to buy a new car.

      The family sees different cars

from Bonnie and Clyde’s car, to the batmobile. Homer finally decides to bu a plow car.

With that car he begins to plow the town, and clear the roads. Thus becoming a hero overnight.

Seeing so much success Barney decides to buy a plow vehicle bigger than Homer’s and slowly ...

      • takes over Homer’s business. Homer decides to get revenge.

        What does Homer do?

The episode focuses on a competitive business. So competitive it gets that, one forgets friendship too.

The same is shown here. I liked the message given out by this episode.

The scene in the beginning of the episode

where Homer sees a woman walking barefoot on charcoal, and comments how can anyone abuse their body so much, whereas he himself is drinking beer and some ” grime”. There are many more funny scenes involved too.

Barney is first time shown to be intelligent. Well anything can happen in The Simpsons

    Royston says :

One of the most beloved episodes from season 4`Mr Plow’ provides guest voices from Adam West and Linda Ronstadt.

Synopsis… After Homer crashes his car from driving in the snow, he decides to but a plow truck and earn money from plowing driveways. As the only resident in Springfield providing this service, Homer seems to have stumbled upon a goldmine and is even provided with the keys to the city from Mayor Quimby. However, Homer is soon overshadowed when Barney buys a bigger plow truck and calls himself the`Plow King.’

This episode has a few good laughs in it, especially since it is from season 4 and The Simpsons was still in it’s early days and very popular. I find it is good to watch`Mr Plow’ during those cold winter months while you sit by the fire.
