Ned invites The Simpsons for a barbecue party. Homer decides to stay at home while the rest of the family goes. However he finally ends up at the party.

Ned announces that he is opening his “Left-handed” store. Homer is jealous of him and wishes that Ned goes bankrupt.

Meanwhile Homer enrolls Bart for a karate class. However Bart finds it boring,

      and bunks it.

Ned starts experiencing a lot of loss in his store. Homer initially likes seeing Ned suffer.

However due to lack of business, Ned has to shift his house and probably sell the store. Homer feels terrible.

Does Homer continue to see Ned suffer?

I liked the scene where Homer is mowing is lawn, and he tells Ned he has ...

      • already finished mowing the lawn, but it turns out he has hardly mowed anything. The ignorance of the man I tell you.

This is one of those rare episodes where you will see Homer doing something nice for Ned. Homer does have a heart after all.

The only reason he despises Ned is cause he thinks he is a jerk. And

what does Homer think he is? Again the ignorance of the man.

The episode however as less number of funny scenes as compared to other Simpsons episodes. This is more of a friendship kind of episode.

Oh yeah and not to forget, the scene where Homer and his dog give similar reactions on smelling some delicious food. The drool dripping, oh man just too funny.
