If you’re asking yourself ’should I buy this game?’ The answer, of course, is without a doubt YES! This is literally THE best game I have ever played. After finishing it I felt so sad that there was no more. The game was so incredible I couldn’t stop playing until I’d beaten the full thing. I’m currently trying to get the sequel, Chrono Cross, though I can’t imagine how it would be better than this…

Chrono trigger has an amazing plot. At first you

look like your average funky japanese hero in a land much like FFVI, medieval, but with a touch of technology. All seems well, when your brainiac friend invites you and a strange girl you bumped into to try her teleporters. It teleports you, but the girl’s necklace reacts to it and suddenly a strange portal opens up and sucks her inside! You jump in after her only to find you’ve traveled to the past and that she’s really the princess. And that’s only the beginning…

This game really does have it all. An evil villian with a big creepy castle who has declared war on your kingdom. Only the princess going back in time messes it all up and you have to set things right. Then when you do everyone proclaims you a kidnapper and chases you away. You bust out of jail and find another strange time gate. You quickly enter it with your friend’s help and find yourself… In the distant future.

      The game not only ...

has a creepy castle, prehistoric jungles, futuristic world cold and covered with mutants, ancient kingdoms of magic and lore, caves of the first humans, dinosaur people with psychic powers, an ultimate bad guy, a more ultimate bad guy that goes to your side to defeat the even more ultimate bad guy, and then of course the MOST ultimate bad guy, the end of time, many different playable characters, death peak, a creepy old man, a psychotic futuristic queen, A crazy AI, this game
mixes fantasy and sci-fi in a way that makes both of them wonderful. Each new time era you go to is almost a seperate game if it weren’t for Crono, the main character who stays with you for MOST of the game.

This game mixed different genres so fluidly, from monsters to robots, that it was astounding. I really enjoyed this game, and encourage all of you to get it as soon as you can. I give this a very well deserved perfect Ten out of Ten.
