From the first time I laid my eyes on a South Park episode I was instantly hooked! Seven years later I am sure not to miss a single episode of the latest season, season 12, and cannot help but wonder just how these guys keep coughing up their creative genius, which of course, borders on insanity! In fact, it is nothing but insanity, crazy, twisted and sick ideas that are executed in a very informal style, where slang is the order of the day.

The writers of South Park actually promote some

serious issues, but the setting of the plot is in a seriously insane setup and this is what makes it so interesting. Vulgar and insults are an integral part, but this can come to be expected because of the target audience.

Celebrities, television shows and even movies and games are ripped off, in that the serious issues being promoted, mixed with all the insanity that is a South Park trademark, usually follow the theme if a certain movie, television show or celebrity lifestyle. I personally have a lot of fun trying ...

      • to figure out which theme is being followed and it all comes together beautifully when I realize exactly who or what is being ripped off. An epitome of the South Park trademark is one of the episodes in season twelve, where the theme of the movie, “THE WICKER MAN” is used and this is fused with the lifestyle of famous pop idol, Britney Spears It’s beautifully insane how it all comes together and it is this mere insanity that keeps followers like me coming back for more.

        Anybody with a sense of

humor and who has a general knowledge about the goings-on in the world of entertainment will find South Park very interesting. I am a South African individual but I never fail to understand any of the themes being followed, or any of the celebrities, television series or movies being ripped off.

All in all, South Park is a great form of entertainment for the open-minded individual and it will not only get you laughing, but will also get you thinking about some serious political issues, such as 911 being a conspiracy of some sort.
