World of Warcraft is one of the best games ever. Being around a couple of years Blizzard’s World of Warcraft (or WOW) has made people round the earth really addicted to the game. WoW is a massive multiplayer game based on the thrilling series of warcraft games. However this is not a strategy game like warcraft I, II and III.

In order to play you need an internet connection. Warcraft scenario has a well established and fabulous story influenced a lot by Tolkin’s imaginary worlds. There are 8 races divided into two factions: The Horde with the races of Orcs, Trolls, Taurens and Undead and The Alliance with Humans, Night Elves, Dwarfs and Gnomes.

Moreover there are several classes: Warrior, Druid, Rogue, Mage, Warlock, Priest, Hunter, Paladin and Shaman. There are two continents: the Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Each race has its capital city and

its alliances territories where is more safe to reside.

In the game you can fight with monsters, beasts and computer mobilised items or fight with the hostile faction when in pvp mode (Player versus Player mode). Moreover you can take up quests and several assignments, you can team up with others to enter an instance (which is a unique copy of a dungeon), enter dungeons, join several battlefields and raids against the enemy faction and complete tough quests that my involve killing elite (special) units. There is also a robust economy incorporated based on banks, auction houses, vendors and trade with other users.

You can send items and messages via internal mail too. The game encourages users to socialise by providing many different possibilities such as guild registering and joining where you can have a well managed association and by establishing close member cooperation, friends listing ...

      • where someone lists his friends and is notified on logins/logouts, various ready-to-use chat channels such as Trade Channel, Local Defense Channel, and supporting the creation of new ones. As players completing quests and killing enemies they gain experience which helps them advance in levels.

When levelling up one can obtain new abilities and skills, be able to take up more quests and kill more difficult enemies. Besides experience, one can increase his/her skills in various crafts such as defence, several weapons and in characteristics like intelligent, stamina, health and more. One can even learn professions that will enable him to do create various items and trade with others.

There are primary professions and secondary skills. Primary professions are: skinning, leatherworking, blacksmithing, tailoring, mining, herbalism, alchemy, enchanting and secondary: fishing, first aid and cooking. One can take up to two primary and all secondary professions.

        For example

one who is skinner and leatherworker can skin animals and beasts and make leather items such as chest armor, boots, gloves, etc. A miner and blacksmither can mine various minerals and make weapons, shields and mail armor. The more one uses his/her profession the more he/she becoming more skilled and learns new recipes and things to create.

There are several items in the world of warcraft. There are regular items, useless items, rare ones, very rare, extra rare or even unique items. An item can be nearly anything from a food or drink, to weapons, rings and earrings, clothes, armor, ingredients, completely useless staff such as stones, or items that can be manufactured or combined with others.

The latest patch of wow even incorporates weather effects in several regions. There are so many things to tell about wow that one can even write an encyclopaedia about it. Wow in one word is FANTASTIC
