  • There is a lot to do in the Outlands and will definitely take some time finishing all of it

World of Warcraft is a massive multiplayer online role playing game, or MMORPG, where you can create your own character and even choose from a variety of servers to play on. Here are some of the basics. When selecting a character you can choose between the Alliance or the Horde, or good and evil if you prefer. If you choose Alliance, your choices of characters include Gnomes, Humans, Night Elves, Dwarves, and the newly added Draenei. Of course, you can only access the Draenei through the Burning Crusade expansion set. If you choose Horde, your choices of characters include

Undead, Trolls, Orcs, Tauren, and Blood Elves, also from the expansion set. With the different type of character also comes different types of classes. Classes differ depending on the character you select.

Once in the game you find yourself in the beginner’s area for whichever character you select. As you advance on to higher level areas, you run into more people. Along the way you can join groups and run through dungeons, where monsters drop valuable items or armor. There is also an auction house where anything can be bought, assuming it was placed up for aution. In addition ...

      • to these, you can also obtain mounts, which allow you to get to places faster. Well, a lot faster than walking.

The newest area added by the expansion is the Outlands, where you can purchase a flying mount, join groups for heroic dungeons where epic gear and items drop off the monsters and bosses, or even quust and get some quick gold. There is a lot to do in the Outlands and will definitely take some time finishing all of it.

I would recommend this game to anyone interested in massive multiplayer online games because not only is it

fun but it gives you a chance to play with other people who share a common interest. The only setback to this game is that there is a cost to play this game. You can either purchase a 60 day pre-paid gamecard in select stores or set up a subscription online and not have to worry about getting a new pre-paid card when the time runs out. I think the price could be lowered though considering how many people actually play this game. Fifteen dollars a month seems kind of steep. However, I really enjoying this game despite the price.
