  • The best way to describe Point Break is two great young acting talents, Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze team up in a movie in opposite roles with a lot of action, nail beating moments and great scenography

      For

the director of this movie, Kathryn Bigelow “Point Break” is her best movie. Sadly enough after this movie, Patrick Swayze wasn’t involved in many great movie projects. On the contrary, Keanu Reeves fame kept going from strength to strength with his involvement in great movies such as “Speed”, “Chain Reaction”, “The Devil’s Advocate”, “The Matrix” and the latest “Street Kings”.

The story of “Point Break” ...

      • is about FBI special agent Johnny Utah (Reeves) who has to work undercover to discover the masterminds behind continues thefts from banks. The thieves wear ex-Presidents masks while doing their mission. At first Johnny was so excited about this new mission until he gets to know better Tyler Ann (Lori Petty).

It seems that Matthew Broderick was originally offered the part of Johnny Utah and

refused. Other actors interested in this part were Johnny Depp and Charlie Sheen. The actress Elizabeth Berkley had a small scene in this movie but it was cut out!

It seems that a sequel for this movie is in the pipeline however Swayze said that he will not take part in it. The producers are determinated to make him change his mind at all costs!
