Even before the melamine pet food scare from pet foods made in China of which Old Roy Dog Food was part of, I would have never purchased this dog food. I have two dogs and they are very much loved.

With that said I read every dog food label before buying and Old Roy is

made of little more than corn, wheat, and flavoring.

This hardly is a healthy diet for an animal unless you are thinking of feeding it to horses.

Dogs need more protein in their daily diets to remain healthy and for their coats to be shiny and soft.

If you have a dog whose coat is ...

      • dull and course and that is not standard to the breed you need to add more protein to their diet.

A dog’s coat is their way to reflect what is happening with his diet.

Old Roy dog food, like many dog foods high in corn and wheat and low in protein will give a dog

digestive problems and more than likely pass straight through the dog without him absorbing much nutriently.

I always happily spend a few dollars more to make sure my dogs are well fed and healthy.

Old Roy Dog Food is not one I would recommend unless you do not care for the health of you pet.
