What a massive let down this figure was. The average retail value of the figure is around $20 and is only one piece in a two-piece diorama that features a Viking Elmer Fudd. At most, it’s worth a quarter of that price.

Once opened, you quickly determine the illustrations that show how to display the item is backwards. Everything is backwards on these figures.

      It’s impossible to

position Bugs in the poses shown, as the base is backwards and the pegs that hold his feet in place are positioned incorrectly. Bugs has to face an awkward position away from his couch accessory, away from the cardboard background, and away from the Fudd character.

It’s very frustrating and a massive quality control issue I sincerely hope has been addressed and fixed. The sculpt on bugs is simply ...

      • gorgeous and the only thing that keeps me from completely panning this figure.

The paint is very bright and beautiful, Bugs’ pose is hilarious and accurate and, a pleasant surprise, he has real whiskers. The drawback is that he has virtually no posability and cannot stand on his own and requires the base, which is what makes it so frustrating.

The solution is to remove the cardboard backdrop and

position the base at an angle slightly to Bugs’ rear. With this, it’s relatively acceptable, but not at all like the cartoon or the designers intended, and it looks a bit awkward.

At the $20 asking price, this is a definite pass. The fact that the base is backwards and the designs are so flawed make this figure too frustrating to recommend, but the paint and sculpt are beautiful.

Only for the most hardcore fan.
