The concept is very alluring, a gym workout at home, but is it worth the money? Perhaps.

I have a Bowflex Revolution machine. It is seriously swoopy. An impressive gismo. Just about every type machine exercise can be done on this guy. The only exception is for those needing more than 220 pounds of resistance. Not

      an overcrowded category.

It lists at $2,999.00, with monthly payments at $45.00. The website states that it may be less than the price of a gym membership, which it might. The “Revolution” is a more expensive model and as such may cost more than your membership but that depends on where you live and what gym ...

      • you use. A less expensive model is the Power Rod Home Gym. At $899.00 or $14.00 a month it beats every gym price that I’ve ever come across.

The machine is good, the price is good, the six week return policy is very good - but is it worth it? Unfortunately, I can’t answer that. If

you only use it from February first to March tenth, then it is not. If you really stick with it, than it is.

It wasn’t worth the price to my friend’s husband - who could have bought a cheaper coat rack, but I’m glad he did. It doesn’t even take up too much space in my bedroom!
