This product is yet another distinctive design from Altec Lansing, manufacturer of powered audio.

ATP3 is a 3-piece multimedia speaker system. Consisting of two satellite speakers and a subwoofer, it produces full, rich sound and outstanding audio quality. It is also space-saving, in contrast to the large sound it is able to produce. As a matter of fact, we can safely place this product just above on our PC work desk, without worrying

about the weight or interferences whatsoever.

The powered subwoofer adds bass for low frequency realism, and the satellite speakers are provided with controls such Treble, Bass and Volume, very useful for adjusting the sounds quality according to your preferences.

We purchased this multimedia speaker for our desktop PC and sometimes we would use it as well to connect MP3/MP4. But this is also compatible with any other device with a standard 3.5, headphone jack,

      • 3.5 mm line-out jack, or RCA left and right outputs, such as portable MP3 player, mini-disk player, and games such as Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo G4; portable CD/Cassette player and audio keyboards.

We bought this unit for around $80, attractive price for a speaker of this quality. There maybe other products or competitors which can offer a more close competition as much as features, quality, and price are concerned, but getting this unit made

us think we made the right decision.

The unit is in all black, made of plastic and wood. The package came with built-in power supply and connector cables

If there is one disadvantage however, maybe it is the limited length of cable on the satellite speakers. If one wishes to place those speakers on a different place apart from the subwoofer, then one would be limited to do that. But overall, all other features are outstanding.

It depends if you have the cords to connect them. But make sure you know what you’re doing because these things are dangerous if not properly handled.

There isn’t any problem in connecting Boe Speakers, or for that matter any other speakers with ATP3 Subwoofer. However, you may need little bit of technical expertise to set the sub’s volume control to provide the level of bass support you want.
